FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – We found a couple more opportunities for those eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine to get their shot in the coming days in Northwest Arkansas.

Fayetteville Public Health Officer Marti Sharkey shared with us this morning that both Washington Regional and Northwest Health are offering vaccination clinics with available appointments coming up.

As of this morning, the Washington Regional clinic has appointments, including some as soon as this afternoon and several available on Sunday. To sign up for those, visit this website.

There is also a drive thru clinic happening at Northwest Health in Springdale this weekend. As of this morning, there were still appointments available on Monday and Tuesday of next week. To sign up for those, visit this website.

Both clinics are intended for those currently eligible for the shot in Arkansas. The state began vaccinating the 1-B priority group on Jan. 18. The group currently eligible to receive vaccines includes individuals over 65 years of age, workers in food manufacturing, and workers in education including higher ed, K-12, and daycare. Local pharmacies, including Collier Drug, Medical Arts Pharmacy, and Heartland Pharmacy in Fayetteville will vaccinate those in the 65 and older group, and some education workers. Others will be vaccinated through mass clinics organized by their employers.
