GPSC Applications Available for Executive Officers, Assembly and Chief Justice for 2020-21 General Election

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Applications are now available for 2021-22 Executive Officer and At-large positions within the Graduate and Professional Student Congress. Any U of A graduate or professional student who meets co-curricular requirements is eligible to apply. Students interested in applying for these positions should read the following overviews and visit gpsc.uark.edu for more information about each individual branch and their duties.

Executive Officers: Students interested in running for a GPSC Executive Cabinet (President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary) must submit an election application.

Chief Justice:  Position is described in depth throughout the judicial code

At-Large Representatives Students interested in running for an at-large representative position must submit an electronic application. There are three at-large representatives from each college and school.

Applications for all of these positions are due at 11:59 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, March 28, via HogSync. Late applications will not be accepted.

Graduate and professional students will elect Executive Officers and College At-Large Representatives for the 2021-2022 term starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, and go through 4 p.m. Thursday, April 15, at gpsc.uark.edu.

The Graduate Professional Student Government at the University of Arkansas is a student-led organization that acts as an organized voice for all graduate students and strives to effectively represent student interest. This application process is sponsored by GPSC through the Office of Student Activities.
