A change is coming to the intersection at Wood Avenue and 7th Street in south Fayetteville.
Crew are scheduled to install all-way stop signs at the three-way intersection on Monday, March 2. The intersection currently includes only one stop sign for eastbound vehicles approaching Wood Avenue along 7th Street.
City officials said the decision was made due to limited sight distance, approach speeds, traffic volume, and the desire to increase pedestrian safety.
