Six Arkansas firefighters were injured Thursday when two engines collided responding to the same call

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to the statement, two Little Rock Fire Department engines collided at a crossing near the University of Arkansas Little Rock campus.

Six firefighters were treated at the hospital for not life-threatening injuries.

Both engines were taken out of service due to heavy damage and will be replaced with reserve engines.

This incident is under investigation.
