A man pleaded not guilty to two counts of capital murder and other charges related to the shooting of his mother, father and uncle in early May

Fayetteville, Ark. – According to the court documents, his name is Samuel Oliver Simmons and he is charged with two counts of capital murder and one count of attempted capital murder.

The shooting occurred around 5:20 a.m. May 1 to a home at 1641 Madison 5675.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found Richard Simmons Jr., Mark Lee Simmons and Mary Marlene Simmons on scene.

All victims had been shot multiple times.

Mark and Mary were both dead at the scene, Richard survived.

Samuel is the son of Richard and Mary Simmons. He lived at the same address as his parents and uncle.

He was later arrested near Huntsville and is being held at the Washington County Jail with no bond set.
