Fayetteville, Ark. – According to the police officials, his name is Matthew Pelter and he was on the inside lane of Thompson Street near Black Oak Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver was traveling north in the same lane when she hit Pelter with the driver’s side front of the car.
The driver was Rosa Rodriguez and she was cited for no driver’s license.
Rosa submitted to a blood alcohol test that showed she wasn’t intoxicated.
The victim had suffered multiple traumatic injuries.
The investigation is complete.
No additional charges are expected.
